Residential home inspection services include any single-family home and multi-unit dwellings (condos, townhouses, apartments, duplexes). We will compile a complete analysis of the home’s systems and structures to determine overall functionality and integrity. We know that purchasing a home is one of the largest investments that you’ll make throughout your lifetime. With this in mind, we take care to be as detailed as possible during the inspection process.
If you are listing your home on the market and would like to have its condition assessed beforehand, Home Town Home Inspections, LLC is here to help. The prelisting inspection will allow the seller to have a better understanding of the current condition of the home and what a home inspector will be looking for in the future once an offer is made. The pre-listing inspection may help reduce the number of defects found later because the seller has the opportunity to fix these items early on.
Following original inspection ONLY
After you receive your inspection report from us, you may be able to negotiate with the seller to have some items repaired. Once those repairs are finished, you can then schedule a follow up inspection or “VOR” with us to verify that those repairs have been professionally completed.
Termites can go unnoticed until they cause catastrophic damage to your home. Whether you’re shopping for a new home or think your current home may have an infestation, we can provide you with a comprehensive inspection covering several types of wood destroying insects. If we do discover a problem, we can help you understand your options for remediation because we are licensed pest professionals.
Most builders offer a one-year warranty on a new home. We can perform a full home inspection before the builder’s warranty expires. Just because your home is new, doesn’t necessarily mean it is defect-free. At your 11-month mark, schedule an inspection to ensure that your home is still in great shape. If we find any covered issues, then you will be able to present your builder with a professionally written inspection to help negotiate the repairs.
Just like your car, your home needs to be maintained. As homes age, routine maintenance becomes an integral part of home ownership to ensure a long lasting structure. We can help you identify any areas that may need more attention by performing an annual maintenance inspection that includes the roof, plumbing, electrical, foundation, attic, exterior siding and major appliances, to name a few.
Let us make the closing process a lot easier to navigate! A certified home inspector can be a true ally in helping you make the right decision for the future. Bring us in, and we’ll put your worries to rest.
